Honda Marine Recognized By J.D. Power And Associates
Honda Marine today announced that its EFI engines ranked "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Four-Stroke Engines" in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Marine Engine Competitive Information Study. Honda Marine recently announced that its EFI engines ranked "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Four-Stroke Engines" in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Marine Engine Competitive Information Study. The study reports Honda Marine engines scoring 913 out of a possible 1 000 points. Presented at a special ceremony at the Miami International Boat Show, the event marks the second consecutive year that Honda Marine has secured this honour. The study also indicates that boat owners are increasingly aware that higher-technology engines deliver a superior overall boating experience, and that there is an increased demand for quiet, efficient, clean-running engines. "J.D. Power and Associates' recognition is a testament to Honda Marine's commitment to customer service, dealer excellence and superior product performance," said John Fulcher, senior manager, Honda Marine. "From automobiles to outboard engines, Honda extends its proud legacy of technological innovation and leadership." Best known for its work in the automotive industry, J.D. Power and Associates has, in recent years, expanded to serve a number of other industries, including marine engines. Editor's Note: Hondas were the highest ranked EFI four-stroke engines in the J.D. Power and Associates 2005-2006 Marine Engine Competitive Information Study based on responses from a total of 12 255 owners of 2004 and 2005 model year boats registered between June 1, 2004 and May 31, 2005.
